The purpose of the Hotel Art Fair is to gather top galleries in Thailand and provide an opportunity for them to showcase their collections, broaden their audience and allow the public to view the artworks in a more comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

Something is happening in Bangkok

Sven Väth, one of Germany’s most enduring and accomplished Djs/producers, is coming to Bangkok to play for one exclusive night at Bed. Väth will be mixing it up to be one hellofa after dinner mint on Friday 15th February. Owner of the clubs OMEN and Cocoon Club in Ibiza and Germany and most importantly, one of the godfathers of the techno scene, Väth unleashes his underground beats with no thought of holding back, with supporting resident DJ from WE LOVE TECHNO opening at 7:30pm in the white room.

Fur den 24. und den 25.11.2012 ist in Bangkok eine Großdemonstration im Bereich um das Parlament, den Dusit Zoo und den Regierungssitz (“Government House”) angekündigt worden. Die Regierung hat für den Zeitraum 22. bis 30.11.2012 für die Bangkoker Stadtbezirke Phra Nakorn, Pomprab und Dusit besondere gesetzliche Regelungen zur inneren Sicherheit in Kraft gesetzt. In diesen Bezirken kann es daher u.a. zu Beschränkungen des Zugangs, Einschränkungen hinsichtlich der Nutzung elektronischer Geräte und ggf. auch Ausgangssperren kommen. Reisenden wird geraten, den Bereich in diesem Zeitraum zu meiden. Die sonstigen üblichen touristischen Schwerpunkte sowohl in Bangkok als auch im Rest des Landes sind hiervon nicht betroffen.
